Viewers can expect news-inspired main page visuals, a Fortress of Solitude hub showcasing Superman-related content, and hidden portals across the main screen that take viewers into Lex Luthor’s Pocket Dimension. Box Office Success Superman smashed through multiple records during its run, such as the largest debut for a Man of Steel film in history. It even beat Barbie in joining the Two Million Member film community in a mere 45 days. Future of the DCU Despite some viewers being split on its take on the character or how it concludes, Superman has laid a strong foundation in DC's new universe. Another installment titled Man of Tomorrow is officially announced, with the returning lead and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor seemingly teaming up to combat an even greater threat. The film is set to start filming next year and premiere in movie theaters on July 9, 2027. In the meantime, viewers can stream Superman on HBO Max starting this Friday, Sept. 19.
